Docs

Docs are Félagi's pages: notes, guides, specs and anything else your team writes down. They live in teamspaces, can have pages inside them, and are the same pages you see in Félagi's knowledge base on the web.

The Docs level

Choose Docs in the sidebar:

  • Favorites — pages you've starred.
  • Teamspaces — each with its tree of pages. Click ▸ to show the pages inside a page.
  • Trash — deleted pages.

Organising pages

  • New page in a teamspace, or New subpage from a page's menu.
  • Drag a page onto another to put it inside, or between pages to reorder.
  • Right-click a page (or ⋯) for: New subpage, Add to / Remove from favorites, Duplicate, Copy link, Move to trash.
  • Move to teamspace is in the page's own menu.

Trash

Deleted pages stay in the trash for 30 days. Restore brings a page back, with the pages that were inside it.

Writing

Open a page and start typing. Everything is saved as you go (Saving …, then Edited just now by you).

  • / opens the block menu: text, headings 1–3, bulleted and numbered lists, checklist, quote, code block, table, divider and image.
  • @ mentions a person or agent.
  • [[ links to another page — type to search, Enter to insert. Click a page link to open it.
  • Normal shortcuts work: ⌘B bold, ⌘I italic, and Markdown like # , - , 1. , > and ``` at the start of a line.
  • Images: choose Image in the / menu, or drop or paste an image onto the page.
  • Links to the web open in your browser with ⌘-click (Ctrl-click).

Icon, cover and title

Hover the top of the page for Add icon (an emoji) and Add cover (a colour or gradient); Change cover or Remove later.

Status

A page is a Draft, In review, Published or Archived. A page that isn't published yet has a Publish button at the top, which sets it to Published.

Writing at the same time

You'll see who else has the page open (“name is editing”). If someone saves a new version while you were writing, the app asks which to keep: Use theirs or Keep mine. Nothing is overwritten without asking.

Comments

Open Comments at the side of a page:

  • write a comment on the page, or select text first to comment on that passage;
  • @ mentions people (they get it in their inbox);
  • Resolve a comment when it's dealt with; Show resolved brings them back, and Reopen if needed.

History

Page menu → History lists earlier versions, newest first. Open one to read it, and Restore this version to make it current again — the current version stays in the history, so nothing is lost.

Sharing a page

Page menu → Share in a channel: pick a channel or conversation and add an optional comment. The page is posted as a link with its title.

Copy link copies the page's link on the web.
