The assistant

The assistant is Claude, inside the app, working with what you can see in Félagi. Ask it things like:

  • “What's assigned to me that's due this week?”
  • “Summarise the discussion in #nettbutikk about Vipps.”
  • “Which meetings do I have tomorrow, and what's on the agendas?”
  • “Find the page about the backup routine.”
  • “Set ACM-42 to done and comment that it's deployed.”

Opening it

Click the sparkle button beside Search at the top of the sidebar. In ⌘K, when nothing matches what you typed, you can ask the assistant instead.

The button only appears when your Félagi server has the assistant switched on. If you don't see it, it's off on your server — ask whoever runs it (see Notes for administrators).

What it can do

The assistant works as you: it can read and change only what you could yourself, and Félagi checks every request as it does for you.

It can read:

  • your conversations and messages, and search them;
  • issues — yours, by identifier, their comments — your inbox, projects and the workspace's statuses;
  • doc pages, and search them;
  • meetings, their agendas, notes (when you may read them) and action items;
  • the people and agents in the workspace.

It can change, but always asks you first with a dialog — Allow or Don't — showing exactly what it wants to do:

  • an issue's title, status, priority or assignee (giving it to an agent starts a run);
  • adding a comment on an issue (posted in your name);
  • a meeting's title, location, agenda or notes.

It can't post chat messages, delete anything, sign you out, or change settings.

It also knows which page of the app you're looking at, so “this issue” or “these meetings” means what's on your screen.

Where your questions go

Your questions, and what the assistant reads to answer them, are sent through your Félagi server to Anthropic's Claude. No key or account is stored in the app. Your organisation decides whether the assistant is available, which model it uses, and how much it may be used.

The conversation lasts while the window is open; close it to start afresh.
